RSS is basically a continuous feed. It's kind of geeky, but it allows you to get updates whenever they occur from different sources. You do so using an "aggregator." I use the Yahoo version. I've attached a screenshot which will hopefully come across.
I'll see if I can set you up as the administrator. Pretty interesting stuff.
The email I've used in the cc is the secret email address that automatically makes your email a post. That's the address you could put in the bcc field for all your emails, so you could post to the blog without letting everyone else do the same.

Getting enthused about this. Did a search last night for other Naval Academy related blogs and there were just two that popped up and they were pretty quiescent.
